Because Lord knows 'Amp' is better than 'Staghart'

Go out and buy issue #8 of Gargoyles, published currently by Slave Labor Graphics. Do it now. This issue is made of awesome that you simply cannot comprehend until you read it (granted it'd be thoroughly confusing to anyone not familiar with Gargoyles.)

That issue is brilliant... except that in it, Lex is making googoo eyes at Harry's patronus.

I like characters with animal attributes, I do. Fangs, tails, pointy ears, pass them this way. But when they get to looking too much like a specific animal, like say, having a stag's head for a head... it's just not sexy. Not to me anyway.

Sorry, not a furry, what can I say.

Amp won me over in spite of being a furry though. He's looking like an interesting character, and his best mate-not a 'mate' Coco rocks my socks. She is the single thing that gargoyles was missing before, what else can I say?

Oh yeah, it was also missing the middle eastern goth hotness, but it has that now too. Yey Shari!

So why the angst pose in this picture? I have no idea honestly. Though I would like to see some follow up to Lexington's cry of 'I'll never trust anyone again!' from the first season ^_^ oh relationship angst. Though nothing will top Brooklyn's relationship angst.

I can picture Lex being awkward and overwhelmed with having a real potential mate in the picture after he moves past the initial 'OMG hot single male gargoyle who laughs when I ask if he has a female mate!' stage.

Ack, fanbabbling. I will stop now. Lazy coloring and background is lazy because I should be doing other things. Pretend the background isn't there, it's bad for your health.
